In Need of Prayer

After I taught the Sunday School lesson to the eight-year-olds, I asked, "Are there any questions ... Something you'd like to know?"

No one said a word, so I continued...

"Do you know anyone in need of prayer? We'll pray for them right now."

One little boy - who will remain nameless - said, "I got two things ... Do you think my daddy's the one who burned down our house? If you do, then we better pray for him!"

Ooops, that's sad and funny at the same time...

Some folks would be shocked at what we hear. And others wouldn't be surprised at all.
